Not sure how I feel about that as sometimes the reasons given aren't the real reasons, as an example one rejection said "Thanks for participating in this survey. Unfortunately, you failed some of the attention checks we implemented in this survey and showed response patterns that indicate arbitrary answering behavior." When the actual reason was because I didn't register any mouse clicks on some of the pages

Can't you select if the rejection is deserved. I always am not trying to not be sometimes not honest.

Sorry, I'm not picking on you as a person/worker its a huge topic of discussion ongoing for the future of TV.

FWIW I understand the sentiment (..my first rejections on MTurk were from A9s where I marked boxers as "not shorts" and yes I'm still AF about it) but we really aim for a more.. hmm, respectful? platform (on TV, this forum is a shitshow because its a social outlet, yes sometimes it bleeds over lol the world is not perfect).

I understand when you eat a ton of rejections that restraint is incredibly difficult & takes a lot of willpower to do but - especially IME on the platform - it makes a world of difference in coming to a positive end conclusion by starting off a negative dialog with a respectful tone (if that makes sense).

A lot of times batches like this get rejected because the Requester got scammed by a worker to begin with (hence inconsistencies, he's probably not referring to your work hes probably seeing 1-2 workers submitting data that is totally wrong vs the average), and cleaning the entire dataset is too consuming so they just blanket reject everything out of ignorance to the impact that has on workers. Everyone kinda gets screwed in these situations, there are no good outcomes because someone has to take a loss (and many times the Requester will overturn & eat that loss) and getting them to agree with that is more difficult to do when the conversation starts off with insults haha.

I am, 100%, down to defend any worker who puts in an honest effort & still gets the crap end of the stick. There are folks here who will vouch for that (oh hey @Buzby btw that IRB responded to me in totally busted English and told me to bug off & I have no way to hanging around in SK so I'm sorry I did fail you there), so I'm not like "dont call a spade a spade" but just wanting to make 100% sure it is indeed one instead of just assuming the worst right off the bat. If the shoe was on the other foot we'd all want the Requester to not assume all workers are scammers & reject the work so the convo always has to start there.. y'know? Sorry I ramble, thank you for responding
