That's true.

One thing I will say about TO: it's 'boiserous and rebellious college demeanor' scared Requesters into compliance pretty well. TV has time to mature into the kind of clout and I hope it does.

So $6/hr 5 years ago seemed somewhat reasonable, many want to do more, I expect no more than $4/hr even today due to my intermittent use of mTurk. How much more can I expect? Everyone that makes $10/hr puts a LOT of effort into that, as we all know.

But I expect to not have to chace approvals when I deserve them, and TV seems to have less room to 'crack the whip' on those unscrupulous Bosses and Robber Barons.

I too have 'deserved' rejections, I'd say 2/3 of my rejections are deserved. I'm 99.85 on 50k HITs off the top of my head.

 

It's okay, I did almost all my Christmas shopping on Amazon too.
