I got a bunch of bonuses today that mandate, as a matter of principal, I must be lazy today. I'm also supposed to be on vacation. Or so my daughter keeps reminding me.

 

It's good to take it easy every now and again. Especially during times like now when there is simply not a whole lot of work available.

I know there are a bunch of other true crime lovers on this forum. Y'all have probably at least heard of if not watched Joe Kenda's show "Homicide Hunter."

I'm currently listening to his audiobook read by him. OMG, you should listen if you like him. I adore that man's diction (no one touch that one, leave it there, I adore the tone and cadence of his voice and how he uses words and ONLY THAT). This book is all the stories that are too much for a television program. Matter of fact he has a disclaimer at the beginning of the book recommending certain people not listen to it.

But if you can stomach the truth of his work as a homicide detective and like him, GET THE BOOK.
