I'm unsure if this is right place to ask this question, kindly forgive me if it isn't. I'm from Dallas, i have been turking for over 2 years. Starting couple months ago, i started seeing this message "You or someone from this location has already taken this study" now and then. It was manageable back then, but lately this is popping up on almost every major survey or study and my daily earnings have plummeted over 80%. I live in a standalone home with my granny, i sincerely could not conceive a logical reason why this could be happening. I have never used a VPN in my life as well. Could someone please throw some light on this phenomenon and potential solutions, if any? Thanks in advance.

2. are you sharing your internet with someone else who is also turking?

"You or someone from this location has already taken this study" is pretty self descriptive.

 

I understand what that means, i couldn't wrap my head around why i'm receiving that msg though. I'm not on a campus, nor i am sharing the internet with anyone. I live in a standalone home with my granny, and unless she is secretly turking behind my back, i can't find a logical reasoning behind this..

 

Is your internet connection secure and password protected? You may have some one using it to turk as well. Do you use scripts to keep track of HITs you've done? Maybe you are coming across a lot of the same surveys during the slow holiday season.

 

So do y'all find the Ozzyman Reviews funny?

 

I use MTS only. And yeah, my internet and wifi are secure and password protected. Nobody use it except me and granny. I do keep a track of the hits i have done, i never retake any hits, i keep track of them through the tracker.
