I...don't understand this question. Why...why would you want the cat anywhere else?

If I have to move Bearnie, he's pretty much learned what NO means (also, GO AWAYYY!) and that works most of the time. Cat hugging also works SUPER WELL, as cats hate hugs...unless you're Porgy, who seems to love being hugged by mom. 9/10 times that'll make Bearnie/Porg/Holly/etc scurry away to give me a dirty look. I used to use a jar full of change when the cats were more rowdy (shake it when they go somewhere you don't like) but I wouldn't use that for being on my lap, just cause I'd hate to discourage them forever from that type of thing.

 

Seems kind of silly as if a simple writing prompt can drastically alter someone's emotions/state of mind for the next 2-3 measly minutes to fill bubbles.

 

It doesn't really have to alter your emotions, they just want to get you thinking about past traumatic events or times you farted in line at the store or other stupid shit.

 

We got Scrags a heating pad and put it under a towel or blanket (He's a literal hot mess of a cat) and he parks himself there for HOURS.

 

It does if you're not a professional turker taking 10s or 100s of surveys a day. These are written, for the most part, with the average person in mind. If anything, we (those of us who do this enough to post of the forums) are messing up their data on some of these studies or we are being specifically targeted to be the benchmark for outliers.

The key is to fart on those little dookiehead kids who keep bumping into you, begging thier mom for last minute candy, screaming and crying trying to get thier way. They deserve Tbell tutes.

 

I sit in the evening with the electric blanket over my legs and Gizmo waits every night for me to turn it on so he can sit on top of it. If I get busy at my desk and don't go sit in my chair he will sit next to my desk and meow in protest

I just dealt with pneumonia for a good week and the farts are incredible from all the antibiotics. It smells like a dairy farm got hit with napalm

 

Anybody doing those geospatials? They seem relatively straightforward but I'm getting a lot of nos.

I'm not desperate enough to do them nor is my 10 foot pole long enough for me to feel comfortable enough to poke them.

 

Poor little Scraggle booty bottom is a whole 6.5 pounds now and has almost 0 body mass to keep himself warm. We woke up and it was 26 out yesterday and there was no way that poor little dude would have survived that in his current health. He's just so tiny! Sometimes, if he seems a little chilly, I pick him up and sit him in my lap and he seems simultaneously SO MAD but will also stay for like 30 minutes, cause he likes how warm it is. He still seems baffled that I can pick him up one handed and walk away with him- I think he's under the impression I'm a giant, mostly hairless cat with super strength.
