    Canned beans seems to have more of the likker cooked out of them in an unsavory way. Plus the skin is always off or slipping off... processed northern beans or baked beans seem to be the best b/c of this.

    That's actually a very nice picture of Rosey. He was a pretty bad-ass dude.

    One of his teammates was Merlin Olsen who was a notable Christian personality in the 70s and 80s, I think he was a preacher on Little House on the Prarier :lol:

    These guys were part of the Fearsome Foursome on the NY Giants back in the day, with Deacon Jones and Lamar Lundy. They are kind of the original football badasses. Way before my time but they were legends and I remember my mom talking about him when she was teaching me how to crochet.

    And Rosey wrote a book on knitting. It sold well and not just b/c he was a football player.
