    There's a service called Free File Fillable Forms. I think it's free for everyone. You have to know what you're doing and know what forms you need, but it's e-file all the way.

    Interesting. Do you need to have a business to take the Schedule C route? I bought a $400 TV and a $500 computer setup to use for mTurk.

    I use a CPA and let me tell you, in our hour long appointment we spend five minutes talking taxes and fifty five talking cats and loopholes. It's great.

    Negative. What you're doing on Mturk is a business according to the US government. Any miscellaneous income you make during the year should be claimed as a business regardless if its a real business or not. SavetheUnlikely Mturks R US could be what you throw on the top line and it wouldnt make a difference since its a sole prop and registered to your SSN on that form. My one suggestion would be to make sure your "business" name stays the same year to year so that if in the event it is used as a source of income come time that you want to buy a home, that its considered "stable" and from the same source. SInce you dont have 1099's to support its from the same source, it will be up to you to show that its from teh same source and thats its consistent.

    I've been super impressed by a couple of them "This tree branch here matches the branch in the image and if you turn the street view around you can see that the shadow here corresponds to the shadow that building next door would make at 8pm, and since there's a digital clock clearly visible if you zoom in on this small corner, it's obviously this address. BOOM"
