    Storing it doesn't matter with what happened to newegg. It was getting skimmed during the checkout process.

    The real lesson is that you should never use a debit card online as it isn't a huge deal if a credit card gets leaked.

    I have a credit card now that I use strictly for PC parts/steam games now. It lets me be completely irresponsible without draining my bank account when the "ooh shiny" urge kicks in. But I monitor my finances like a madman so I would notice anything out of the ordinary within a few minutes/hours anyway.

    As in, works on them. A kindly young man helped my daughter jump her car and he touched the cables together. I think it fried the BCM? Her dome lights, door locks, and radio are completely dead now. Before I jump in to switching it out myself I was just wondering if I shouldn't.

    Have you checked fuses? I know that's a basic fix...but it would be cheapest before anything else.

    I went to the gas station and bought some but they weren't the correct size. I told her to buy some and try that first. But since all of those went out, I fear it is a more major issue.

    You should be able to tell by looking at them if they are blown. Little metal squiggle in the middle will be broken.

    You can check them and visibly see if they are broken. Hopefully it's a cheap easy fix but damn that kindness of strangers

    It is weird what all works on the same fuse. Things that don't seem like they would be on the same one, sometimes are. So check to see if the little metal piece is broken first.

    Also, depending on the car, there may be more than one fuse box. Sometimes in the car and under the hood.
