    I have read the book several times so will definatlycheck out the movie. It is violent but the violence is in context it is not just there for ratings or whatever . It is not a children's book so if a dog attacks or there is a fight it is described without glossing over and the book describes several rather violent rabbit societies without holding back. But if your daughter can get past that it can open a lot of discussion on diffrent societies, and on people and there impact on the environment
