I disagree. Watership Down was one of my favorite books when I was 10.

You guys must be talking about Watership Down, saw the new version on NF and warned my 11 year old not to watch it. She cried for 2 hours after the last Avengers movie,lol.

 

Watership Down gives me too many feels as an adult, to the point I will weep like a little Grinch if I go anywhere near it.

I read it at that age too but I meant not a cutsie childrens book. children are not the intended audience though certainly some are mature enough to handle it. I get a kick about all the parents online up in arms about how violent the movie is. I'm like did you read the book or even a review of it just cause it is animated doesn't mean it is a "children's" book if your child can't handle mature content pass
