Uhhh kinda, they eventually meta joke it & cut down on it a good bit in the later seasons. They cut it out so much when they do come back to it eventually it actually got me a bit.. total teary eyed bromance moment even

Haha, yea the early seasons are a good bit more .. "drama-y"? I guess. I'm rewatching the early seasons now and its so draining lol.

Eventually they meta-joke it so hardcore its funnier & lightens the heavier moments of it.

 

She's better than the girl Sam settles down with.. ugh

The "Fan Fiction" episode, musical? Is so damn good lmao.

So many wise cracks + some subtle shoutouts to characters you kinda forget about by that point... I cry when they acapella Wayward Son every time

 

thank goodness. they're good at being meta and it's always funny, so i'm glad they'll go that route with it. especially because it's super obvious and cliche at this point. like, bish, you're not going anywhere and you know it. oh yeah? you got sucked into hell? really? see you in 10 minutes.

she was the laziest shell of a character ever, at least for the 5 minutes they gave her to exist. "okay we need someone cute, supportive, no real personality, has a kid... and go" bring back the edgy emo angel lady for him.

Dean proceeds to bang 50 roadhouse hookers in 1 season before dropping in again
