So I hate this.

I start to type in a search term and half the time the word "reddit" gets appended to the end of it as I guess it's popular to search for stuff specifically on reddit.

I hate reddit. I don't want that on my search terms.

 

If you are logged into google that is your own fault.

 

Let me learn nothing from this disaster & try to shove this thing in there again

Since I use gmail as my email for personal and work, I'm basically always logged into google.

 

Your search results are being tailored to your search history.

Google knows you better than you know yourself apparently.

Last time I was on reddit I was looking at something someone posted here, lol.

Otherwise, me not on reddit. My kid is. I just went and looked to make sure I wasn't logged into his google account, lol. I'm actually logged into my fake ass google account on this browser (the one I use for turking) so maybe that one is associated with all the reddit looksees?

All I was looking for was a way to watch the Matrix with the kid tonight, and google appended "reddit" and I was all, "I wanted to know how to LEGALLY watch it, for goodness sakes!"

Totally true for me. I'm THAT person. I'll borrow a movie from someone, but I won't watch one online illegally. I don't want to teach my kid to do that. I'm going to let him figure that out on his own after he turns 18, lol.

 

Also, I need to watch it on my tee vee using my roku, so...

 

Nah I pirate the shit out of anything that isn't video games.

Gotta own it.

justwatch works well if you want to legally watch it though.
