since i hated tomato soup as a kid, i dipped my grilled cheese in spaghettios then made my dad eat the rest of the spaghettios when i was done

 

grocery list has been made for all these ingredients

1 TBSP bacon grease
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 TBSP sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
6 TBSP melted butter

Heat the bacon grease in a cast iron skillet and put it in the oven. With the skillet in the oven, preheat it to 400 degrees

While it's preheating, mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl
Beat the egg and buttermilk together in another bowl.
Add the wet to the dry and then stir in melted butter

When the oven has gotten hot enough take it out and add the batter to the skillet. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until done.

 

I haven't seen it since I was a kid. I don't want to rewatch it in case I think it's bad now, though.
