yeah, i don't want to go into details, but i do know how "easily" and undetected things happened back then. i would think it goes against basic parental instinct to let anything happen willingly, which is the worst part. i naively want to believe it wasn't willingly, but bun's right. especially with mormonism in the picture. it was "common" for her to get diddled and married off young, but not okay for a wife to cheat on her husband or a husband to give his bff a handy in a car, so they let it happen and saved their own ass

only because it's a sensitive topic, we're not being too vulgar or anything.

I totally agree with you. I don't get it myself. But having grown up then (I was six in 1974) I know that people had blinders on BIG TIME. I know this from personal experience (not an old perverted dude) and from other's experience. I don't understand why they continued to let him see her, but...damn, it was a weird time when it came to this topic.

@THFYM By the way, Matt about stroked out from rage when that guy in the Fyre doc was talking about how he used microsoft flight sim as a way to "teach himself," how to fly that plane, and only had his pilot's license for 6 months prior- how much money do you wanna bet that guy had a private license but not the multi-engine one (they are two different things and Matt legit had to take a super annoying, in person course to get his certification). Matt just yells, "WELL, THAT IS HOW YOU DIE! THAT IS HOW YOU DIE!"
