if i want to hang a picture in the middle of a wall, i'm going to hang it (drive a nail) in the centerline of the wall, no matter the size of the picture

it's poorly worded, at best, and we're still doomed because people who are educating our kids can't write an unambiguous word problem

If Cindy has a picture that is 11 inches long and she wants to hang it exactly in the middle of her 14 foot wall, how far from the adjoining walls will the edges of her picture be?
