I think it's at least semi-decent people who get it ever since the day I got it. Still wouldn't recommend using it to a req though

 

Ironically I only got masters after I became efficient enough on mturk to break through 10k a year. It was immediately after a mega batch rejection too. Amazon really don't know what they're doing with mturk.

You got it at the same time as the big batch of others got it though right?

It wasn't like you got mass rejected, and then Amazon was like "hey, check out this Nick guy. He just got 600 rejections. Lets give him masters."
It was more like - "Hey we got a big list of workers, someone flip the switch." right?

 

You gotta love all the talk of "ideal monkeys" though.

thanks, lost both, speechfeedback got me on a BS one and I had to have some kidney operations, so that stopped my never missing a day, but i tried to turk while in the operating room, but they would not let me die hard turkers are die hard turkers. glad to see you are still hangin, hope you are well

 

thank god, thanks for clearing my sanity. it might have actually been on mtg now that i think of it, but whatever. there were probably like 2-3 people from texas who got denied and made it a texas thing. bullying them for having delicious food or something.

sometimes i dream really trivial but convincing things, like that i'm at the store buying milk. i'll wake up irl and go to make cereal and have no milk, and realize it was a dream. it's stupid, and i always worry about bringing up those things in conversation as if it was real. i started thinking it was that, lol.

MTurk's sole purpose is to fuel Amazon's world class AWS services with AI adjacent human processing as cheaply as can be achieved.

Amazon knows exactly what they're doing w/ MTurk. Workers just don't like it b/c they're the disposable part.

I don't think any reasonable worker could ever think Amazon should spend more than 2 microseconds giving a crap about MTurk. The entire thing runs on the ability to discard the vast majority of us as individuals & plug/play the next brain capable of pressing 2 buttons w/o drooling on itself.
