Y'all. We got all of my son's college stuff and financial aid stuff done yesterday. Between his grades and grants, he is getting enough money this year to pay for the next two years of college. EVERYTHING paid for, books, tuition, everything. With a bit left over. Granted he's going to a local college here, but still. At least the first two years of college he will be debt free!

as long as he passes his classes and doesn't get into trouble. read the fine print of the grants and scholarships. trust me it matters

 

Hell no, he never goes outside! I bathe him. He gets dirty again just living indoors. He just doesn't groom himself is all, so he rolls in kitty litter and assorted dust and sand that blows in and exists and then he sleeps with the dogs and crawls under the bed. He rolls in really whatever he can find. I brush him and foam shampoo him but he gets pretty grody eventually. He's the cat version of pig pen. It's like having an adult baby who never ever cleans themselves but is sure to track kitty litter across the house. I think you've seen how he eats too, right? He gets food allllll over himself.

 

That is freaking awesome! Yaaaayyy!

I'm still paying back the loans I took out for undergrad but mostly grad school. I'm working my butt off to save for my youngest so he, hopefully, can graduate with his bachelor's debt free. (He will go on for a Master's but he may have to acquire some debt for that...)
