Here's the thing, I work in a restaurant, and I 'invented' a drink for my bar last year that was basically a Moscow mule with a hit of pampalmousse and a some simple syrup infused with jalapeno. I think this stuff will be great to rim a glass for that drink. It would probably be good for just a regular bloody mary or a cucumber margarita as well. I just never heard of it before. Creative juices flowing.

 

I imagine mexican candy is mostly just chili powder, as thre's no real need to add much additional citrus zest to whta's already a fruit tamarind or wallamelon candy. Mexican candy is awewsome

But that little powder candy in the bottles - yeah that's pretty much tajin, but with less or no salt. I think.

I've had those before, they are great! There's a restaurant near me that makes salsa with them

 

My area has a lot of Hispanic immigrant so I don't even get an excuse here. I've had Mexican candy before, though not with the dipping stuff and didn't like it. It was some watermelon sucker thing.

 

Based upon some of your comments I have discerned that you are from SC. I don't know what part exactly though. Probably the part where we all love dogs.
