    In an effort to make the @Fit Friends proud, I sent Matt to work with the rest of my babka (and gave him a big slice for breakfast), so I'm eating the last little slice and it's one of the best things I've ever eaten and I'm sad I can't eat the entire thing now that I sent it away:emoji_cry:

    Hey y'all...if I want to have a gaming computer built for my son, would it be feasible to have a desktop built for around $800 or so? Y'all know I'm not tech savvy so any info would be appreciated!!

    I even got around this by vacuum sealing slices for different people, writing their names on it, and sending them pics yesterday, so they would know to come get it from Matt today...Im doomed. Those slices won't last!

    Prebuilt? Yep you can. There are several companies out there that make them. In fact when I was looking around the other night looking at builds for mine before I placed the order I saw one on Digital Storm for 788 I think.

    Note: I've never used digital storm as a company so I can't offer any form of recommendation.

    That's completely feasible, and building it on your own is more affordable too. Youtube has a lot of guides

    Yes it's very feasible. $800 will get you an excellent gaming PC. Look here, scroll down there's a build for $700.

    Definitely! I think mine was only $600-700(but I already had some periferals). I would highly recommend making a post on reddit.com/r/buildapcforme and fill out a request post with your budget and what kind of games he plays! That's how I got my part list and love what I made as a result.

    Well yeah. So I would say it would matter what the purpose is. General gaming? 800 can be fine.. running everything in 4k might be difficult, however.
