Exactly, my personal experience was with something that had a rate of 1 in 20-30k. Didn't mean much because we were that 1. BUT, when looking at if I could have had that info sooner would I have wanted to, YES! Even more to the point, most people are going to get good news. So then the cost analysis, as I tell my clients, is "What is your peace of mind" worth to you, and "Will having this information change anything for you". If you don't plan on acting on the info, and you have no reason to be concerned, enjoy the pregnancy. If you are awake at night and having trouble with anxiety, your peace of mind may be worth the cost.
