That is not a new thing. I was part of a reduction in force with a company I had been a consultant with for almost 10 years back in 2008 and when I started looking around for new companies to consult for I ran into the same problem. I still get spam email from Laos, Viet Nam, and Cambodia. I don't know how they got hold of my information, but it all started when I registered with a major online head hunter and used a paid (YIPES) Yahoo! address. I haven't used the account since 2009 for anything email related, but the junk just kept winding through the system for the longest time. Then there were the calls to my fax line and business phone line. GRRRRRR....

Fwiw, everyone calls them windmills here (at least the engineer bros and such). We think it's more fun and whimsical!

I like to gesture to the windmills and tell people whether they are in bloom this time of year or not. Matt's mom still does not find this funny, but everyone else always laughs so suck itttttt.
