SAME. I have zero qualms at all calling my kid out on the few occasions she's being a jackass. The world is not a tender place and yes I want to shield her and put her in a bubble but it would only be harmful down the line. Plus I was not built for kids. I have zero patience for stupid shit. lmao It worked out cause God knew this so he sent me a pretty damm good kid.

 

Only occasionally, I filter a lot.

 

I started to write letters to them and keep them in envelopes for their birthdays. I throw a 20$ in there for them every time. Hopefully one day I get to sit down with them when they are adults and tell them how much I really do love them and wish I could be around them. I just don't do fighting so I just shrugged and said if she wants to be that way then let her.

I got a boy this last time knowing I was going to be a single mom and no man involved. Totally expected to pop out another girl and when I saw he was a boy on the ultrasound I was all, "You're kidding, right?"

But hey, in this case it worked out. I did learn a LOT and grow a LOT and thankfully he's been an easy kid. So. Far. I still have a few years and don't want to jinx it.

At least he doesn't throw bratty shit fits like the 26 year old. lol. (she's awesome, she really is, she was just in a knock down drag out fight with her other mom and I was trying to stay neutral...)

Lol I only do NFL/NBA/dota2 and this time of year the first 2 weeks after the All Star break is the absolute hardest time to predict which team is going to show up because of so many variables - tanking, recent trades starting to gel, playoff pushes, stat padding, the large element of randomness in the sport in general, etc. I'm just starting on spreads for tonight but if I see something fire I'll pass it on.
