I see a lot of railing on people for posting batches on forum boards. I understand the desire to not have the good batches so publicly known, but....with the recent popularity of TV and posting reviews for everything, aren't you also making those batches more widely known?

there's a small minority of workers who don't care, and post reviews to good, unreviewed batches they choose to do.

You will not find a batch review that isn't either small or insignificant among my reviews.

When people choose to review 50$/hour fire batches and make the entire mturk community aware of them, I'd argue it pisses off the people who helped build up that database of survey reviews.

Whether or not it's feasible or agreeable to @ChrisTurk to nuke those specific data points is really up to him. But it's really a infinitesimal amount of data compared to every survey review on the platform which is fine imo.

But all in all, TV/TH is just one outlet people are going to use to knowingly burn their own money by making hoards of non-contributing people aware of work that they could be doing themselves. It could be policed to all hell here, and MTC will take over to tell everybody of the next big thing on turk. It pisses a good number of people off in theory, because why on earth would you burn your own money, but worrying about it is fruitless. Do good work and do it when it's up is all you can really do.
