    That actually work great, the only thing I can't do is change the settings for them like the double tap behavior or see the battery life on my phone for them. I set it up on someones ipad and can still skip songs and pause/play and all.

    Well they obviously have models without that but if you already have the airpods you may as well use them I guess. Or you could sell them and likely have money left over afterwards.

    They are just bluetooth earbuds so I don't know why you wouldn't think that they would. The auto turn off feature may not work properly if apple decided to gimp it on purpose but otherwise they should work.

    Still overpriced but that doesn't really matter in this case I guess.

    That's literally what I'm talking about. I know there's stuff in there that they did above and beyond the bluetooth spec. I just wasn't sure what the airpods did on their own vs what they did in software on the phone.

    Plus I was asking the person who actually uses them. So...not sure why you felt the need to speak to something you don't know about. Oh. Wait.

    People talk about those earpods and the similar ones samsung and other manufacturers for me to know how they work.
