I agree on overpriced. I bought an s9+ at launch and regretted it even though I loved the phone. Ended up selling it for $160 after it was blacklisted by my dick of a Dad when I came out(even tho I was paying my bills in full every month).Thankfully I had done a payment plan so I had only paid a small fraction of the price and that dick got stuck with like $800 in payments(which I was planning on paying before he blacklisted it) because he couldn't handle having a son that's bi.

The desktop experience on it sucks less now as well. Not that any of us could ever survive without a real desktop OS but most people could likely get away with a nice docking setup.

 

That's true, I got mine refurbed from Amazon but wouldn't have paid retail for it.

 

I could be wrong since i haven't owned one since the S6

Android has plenty of flagship tier phones that aren't that expensive. If you want to get the best camera in a smartphone you will be stuck with the expensive ones but everything else can be had for a fraction of the price.

I've come to realize that it's a waste of money getting phones at launch when they get marked down to half their cost or less after a couple months

 

For samsung's shit you either buy with the pre-order bonus or wait a few months to get deals. Any other time is a waste of money imo.

 

Exactly, it was depressing seeing it literally for $400 with extra stuff one month after getting it(which makes me glad I didn't end up paying the full payment plan lol).
