This is true.

I HATE HOAs. I have to deal with them because of work. Just got a nastygram from one of them today for something so freaking stupid it makes me want to scream.

HOAs are run by petty Gladys Kravitz type people. Always in someone else's business.

We get contacted on and off to be the property manager for HOAs and we flat out turn them down. There is no way I'm going to be that person citing someone because freaking dandelion is growing in the cement crack of the driveway (true story, entire letter was sent about it, ONE DANDELION! The person who took the picture, printed it out on a letter, put it into an envelope, stamped, mailed it, required us to photograph that it was gone and mail that back couldn't stoop over and just pull it out of the ground?)
