They respond to emails quickly too, but I didn't see it worth sending one - I've filled out their demo info, so I'm just not in that particular qual...I was just curious as to what it might be

 

It was for Pi day, no less! You'd think a pot pie-rate ship would be pretty festive. It wasn't even an event I was going to! So, I'm making a free pie that you've given me very little creative control over? (oh...could it be a pot pie? could it be chicken, tho? brandon thinks cows are too cute to eat.) And you're gonna throw a fit because I wanna make something fun? Because, if I'm gonna spend my free time making other people a pie, I want something interesting to come out of my time. Matt fully had my back on this one. He told the person organizing it that they could either take a pie shaped like a pirate ship (I was thinking resting it in a sandy bed of mashed potatoes and chunky breadcrumbs, like a beach!). Not shockingly, the entire event has imploded, because the few people willing to make pies got the same sort of bullshit thrown at them.

Of course, the idea of making a savory pie shaped like a pirate ship has now taken hold of my brain, and I will have to attempt this monstrosity. I found a lady online who made an apple pie shaped like one, and she has some pics of how she did it, so I feel like I can probably do the same thing with a savory pie. Or it will be a monstrosity, the likes of which we've never seen before. I strongly suspect I'll have to make a fleet of tiny, pie ships, because I'm thinking a bigger ship will probably implode on itself.

Ive been doing userbob for years. If you have John's basic qual, some things you will be good to go with, some things, you may not. Its however he sets the HIT up. Some things are determined also with how many of his HITs youve done in the past of his. Start with all the small 40c stuff and you will start grabbing the larger ones. Or leave them to me. Either option is cool.

I think i have close to 190 videos done of his. I love usertesting type hits, so I do them whenever I can. If you are a big fan of that style of HIT, try UserTesting.com or Userlook on mturk. They are a little more strict, but the pay is fantastic. Very rarely will you get a task thats >10min in length, but the pay is still the same. 10 bucks regardless of the time. I did one today that was one question. One 30sec question. 10 bucks.

Glad to see people had fire days today. My buddy kept sending me sweet HITs but they all turned purple. I went to do the 7 dollar userbob and turns out my buddy put a virus on my laptop that I use for userbobs and couldnt get into my desktop. lost 7 bucks that I see somebody else gained.

 

Wait till you get to the game part and see the punishment.

 

I can't believe that they punished @ChrisTurk by sharing his nudes to every worker.
