    That still a tiny mortgage in todays prices. My brother house is half the size of mine with 3 times the payment. But, I could have payed the minumum down and invested the extra cash and easily earned 7-8% on it

    I understand that. We have a tiny one room cabin and an acre of land on the lake about 2 hours south of here. I'd love to sell this and move there LOL. We only owe 65,000 on this house though so we can knock it out pretty quick.
