My office is littered with boxes and bags and some newspaper flyers cause they all enjoy playing with them so much. I just swap em out when they get ratty. I've really gone full crazy cat lady. Honestly, 8 year old me would be very pleased to find this out. After all the fake outs as a kid, when I kept getting a box with holes in it that turned out to have a stuffed cat or dog, it's pretty satisfying to be able to rescue all the mangy animals I can find. Matt knows he's doomed once we eventually move back to the farm, cause then I'll have space for more dogs, too!

No.

 

I've bought my cat tons of toys over the years and of course he's only ever interested in the boxes or plastic bags they come in. He also loooves playing with hair ties - one time I found a huge pile of 20+ of them under the couch and it explained so much about why I can never find a hair tie when I need one

 

The answer is always no.

 

My dog loves stealing those too. I have to be careful to put them where he can't get at them. He doesn't mess with my ribbons, though, even though they're more colorful.
