    Believe me I won't, but this is no more promising that people just going out and buying a console. Oooh muh 60fps, oooh cloud based gaiminggg. Meanwhile many of us are itching for idk maybe new standards to come into play? 60fps is as old as time, what about 144hz? What about 1440p, 4k, 8k even? If everyone laps this up because "OMG MUH GOOGLE" there's no incentive for developers to push beyond whatever Google decides to set as the standard. That's all of course assuming it has a high reception. I'll believe it when I see it, Google has a laundry list miles long of failed projects.

    Would work great for myself and others but I'm saying overall we are wayyyy behind on internet. I realize tech is always way ahead of the times. But also I don't want to be nickel and dimed by sub services to where I never really "own" anything.

    wait what's the problem? cloud based gaming isn't going to be the "gold standard" by any measure. But it in itself is pushing the envelope.

    To be able to play graphics intensive computer games in a hotel room on a fifteen year old computer is pretty handy

    Your target market for that is so small based on internet speeds and the horsepower that it takes to decode in real time. You're going to take your 60fps and like it. Even that is still pretty damn impressive considering the latency involved.

    Sure, but we've been stuck at 1080p 60 fps for so long it'd be nice to see a change. If American ISPs would stop being what they are that could all change. Can barely even enjoy 4K without Comcast slapping me silly with charges.

    Are you okay with 60fps and medium to high settings? Streaming is for you.

    Do you want 144fps + on max settings? You should play your games locally with your own hardware.

    It's about time to accept the idea of "owning" a "copy" of a game or, really any digital content is rapidly coming to the end of the line.

    Music is streaming, movies and TV are streaming. It's a model that works. A s much as I like the ability to sell a copy of a game or something, or the fact that it can't be just turned off/stopped being delivered...you're either going to hop on this train or get run over by it.
