It's been happening for a while. Keep in mind the Wii just shut the shit down. Even if you own the digital games you can no longer get them if you didn't have them saved.

honestly, i don't want to own a physical-anything when it comes to media. i look at my shelf with xbox games and wish i bought them all digitally. reselling is even losing its (already really sad) value because... surprise... not everybody wants to own physical copies of things. i pre-ordered a game on kickstarter a few years back that was released digitally first, then they mailed the physical copy just for funsies. i gave that crap away to a friend the second it hit my mailbox. give me digital, pleeaaase.

As a side note, we hardly 'own' games anymore. Even your discs require day one updates 90% of the time to run properly or get the rest of the game. Heck, Black Ops required a 52GB day one patch. lol

 

Why is the timer on this dog pic hit only 45 minutes? Do they know how long it takes to get your dog to sit still for 5 pictures?

I bought a physical copy of Fallout 76 so that I could have the install disk and not have to download the game and was super pissed when it was FUCKING CARDBOARD inside.

Grinching and not buying it will stop it. People think you have no power but you do. How many times have I seen a character 100% reworked because of Grinching. Countless times. Grinching and money can do wonders.
