03/23 - Sinful Saturday

There was absolutely nothing cool down there except all my brother's homemade weapons. Those were pretty neat

 

at least there was something fun

what did he make?

 

The good news is I retained power in 2 of the 3 original areas. The bad news is that I lost power in 2 other areas. Maybe I should replace the entire breaker box.....

 

He made spears with double edged knife tips attached to wooden rods, he made spiked clubs with screws, he made all kinds of stuff I don't even know how to describe. I'll have to take a picture tomorrow.

 

that sounds cool, i'd like to see a pic whenever you get around to it. there's a show called forged in fire where contestants compete in bladesmithing, it's fascinating to watch. some people are crazy skilled.

 

The brewery that I am chef at had a softball team for a bit. We brought a keg to each game and put it in the dugout. We had more on field vomits (3) than wins (1) in 2 seasons and were politely asked to not compete again the next year, I was so proud

That'd be cool! His aren't anything like that, but they're sturdy and they would get the job done. One time he gave me one he made where he took a rod and attached the prongs from a huge two prong meat fork and attached it to the end. I was in martial arts for years and we trained with all kinds of weapons. He got the tips so sharp I thought I was gonna wind up killing myself the first time I trained with it.

do you guys run more than 2 pandas at once, how long do you all wait to turn off a panda and change to something else?

once upon a time maybe. I can't train as hard with my back and wrist the way they are anymore.
