The book isn't that confusing until it gets like really weird toward the end. It's one of those cases where I feel like the author didn't properly know where they were headed so they just rushed the ending.

 

did anyone do the surveycomet hit? the $26 that dropped earlier?

I'm looking for a time, if anyone knows how long it actually takes -- does it really tend toward the ~3 hour mark?

stardust is good! i've loved everything of his i've read (and we're reading good omens in the book club here), but nothing has lived up to american gods because i started with it. though, it's been a long time, so maybe i should try again. i'll grab neverwhere next

Such a good book.

 

Stardust was my first, I remember randomly picking it up off the library shelf when I was like 12. I still have yet to read Anansi's Boys or touch Sandman. I think I'll keep Sandman shelved until another day, to be honest.

Don't forget Anansi Boys and Fragile Things (especially Instructions).

yeah, i started sandman but didn't get far. again, not that it was bad, i just have a really bad habit of reading like 3 books at the same time depending on what genre i feel like any given day, and it fell by the wayside at some point.
