I am a horrible passenger. Despite flying back and forth numerous times when we were stationed in Hawaii. I'm always just as terrified as I was the first time I flew. When my ex was working on his pilot's license I told him I could smell the model glue on the twin prop. It isn't really the flying, it's the height. When I get to the third floor of the Galleria mall I have to walk along the outside of the stores along the wall. Much higher and my body instinctively starts to get on the floor and tries to crawl. Serious terror for me.

 

My inner child wants to say "but it's not diet coke"

My inner adult says "I've never really been a fan of the zero stuff, it just doesn't taste as good."

I found Matt's adorable little man journal from when he was in middle school/high school and he has this list of goals. One of them was to restore his great grandad's original cub, which had been in ruin on the farm. It was kinda heartwarming, cause he did! Took him like 3k hours, but it's a beautiful plane to fly.
