Every day I'm grateful that my little monstrous ball of pure muscle cannot reach anything I actually care about, because he's a destroyer.

 

NGL - I'm pretty unwell overall. I've spent the last year and a half secluding myself to try to work on just that. I'm in a better place than I was when I started, but I don't know if I'll ever truly be "well"

 

Me trying to explain it to my mom: flappy thing on tummy doesn't work. Food goes in but....doesn't stay in? She lays down, tummy opens and pours everything out. With some acid kick because why not.

 

Oh and she has really good insurance, so RIP your self employed ass.

 

The newer ferals are still...very chippy with poor manners. Which, understandable! It takes a good while to adjust. The problem is the new ferals are making my semi-well behaved monsters CRAZY. When Scrags/Coug/Sheila are getting into shit that Bearnie and Porg and such damn well know they can't do...they suddenly decide to join in on the mob mentality. And then Coug decides he wants to have some Jets and Sharks level gang fight which is about as effective as dance fighting, but annoying to negotiate. It's a lot better than a few weeks ago, but I'm gonna need backup in the form of cabinet locks LOL. I almost shed a tear when I saw Coug and Bearnie opening the cabinet together, instead of wildly beating each other. I mean, I'd prefer they bond without eating my dough, but I'll still take it.

Supposedly there is a yearly out of pocket maximum but I'm 99% sure they don't acknowledge it unless you call and say "hey guys I'm still paying money out of pocket will you please fuck off?"

And then Coug decided he didn't wanna eat with everyone cause he was distressed by the existence of other cats, so I fed him in the bathtub. He's still not socializing super well. He can be in the same room as everyone now, but gets snippy very easily and basically never lets me touch him. I fed him a chicken liver today and he still only booped me and then hid again. Poor guy is real messed up from being outdoors so long.
