Oh yeah, this is exactly why when I caught one I didn't evolve it.

 

Have you tried putting a pan of water on the oven rack beneath the cheesecake? If that doesn't work, just cover the cracks with a layer of some sort of cream cheese icing after you let it cool and press it back together a bit.

 

Yeah, and I've used a water bath but it still is a pain in the butt. I just want it to turn out right the first time without having to "fix" it.

 

The "no one can see your mistakes if you cover them with something else" method is usually pretty reliable.

 

Dump enough fruit on top and I'll be golden.
