I totally forgot I joined IRC until it just started beeping. I'm not really following it, just there to be available. Also registered #TurkerHub just in case.

Whoops, this got undone on update, my bad I've edited back in will push an update tonight to fix.

 

How do you find out why? I click on links from here, the reddit page hit scrapper, etc, and 99% of the time it's into the preview or a panda. do you search for the title yourself and then check the why? and my why is usually VERY vague. And then sometimes it says you don't have some random thing like some number or a specific level of something else....how do you find the qual to take?

Not very long, less than 10 minutes IIRC a few writing sections but they don't have a minimum word count or anything like that.

 

The last one was really quick. I don't know how much I can say with the whole NDA thing, but it was probably equivalent to a run-of-the-mill $1 survey, with writing. Easy though as long as you watch the movie.

 

90% of the time the qual is closed, meaning it's only given out by certain qual HITs (Sergey's wiktors quals are like that). Not many requesters nowadays actually give out qual tests, they just give you a qual for your past work with them. 90% of the time you're not actually going to stumble upon an open qual by checking why you can't do a HIT, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Hey hey, I am making mturk part of my daily routine again with a tiny goal of $5 a day. Because $140 a month relieves some serious stress.

 

Did you guys get that through their website or did you get it though the HIT on mturk? I did both and I never hear back.. Maybe they didn't like that I did 2?
