There's different versions. I mean, even if they do suck up 10 minutes of your time with a survey, it's a $16 hit. It's well worth it.

Well that's their own fault for being slowpokes. Any reasonable and sane human being at an average pace isn't going to be wasting more than 10 minutes or so on the extra stuff unless they get shafted with the 20 minute video version.

Well, at least your windows are secure. Mine can, sometimes, if the nothing is swollen or out of alignment be pried open with just your fingers. I'd actually love more secure windows but at least I live in a safer rural area so I'm not too worried about break ins.

But having easy to open windows did come in handy when I had a cat who locked me out a few times.

I also remember being shoved through a tiny kitchen window by my parents when I was a kid when we got locked out. I can't remember if it was easy to break in or if they just left it unlocked because it too high off the ground to reach without help and too small for an adult to get through.

Our mom always locked us outside when we came home from school and wouldn't give any of us a key, so going in through the window is something that happened often. I'm starting to think my mom might've been a bit of a terrible parent.

My dog locked me out once. I walked the first dog, looped back to walk the second, and the dog got so excited to see me that she jumped on the door and hit the deadbolt enough to lock it. I had to wait an hour for Matt, who didn't live with me at the time, but had my spare key.

As a kid, I used to pop the lock on the basement window and shimmy in. It was one of those super tiny windows and nobody else could fit in except a child cat burglar, so it wasn't a huge safety concern, but I did learn how to jimmy it open cause I didn't have anyone home much and otherwise would have been locked out for half the day.

When I was 6, my dad handed me a key since nobody would be home when I got out of school. I...didn't think this was odd. Everyone in the first grade thought I was so cool for having the responsibility of a house key. When I got to college, someone said, "Oh, so you were one of those sad latchkey kids!" It dawned on me then that that was probably more sad then cool.

We all got our own key when we moved and my sisters both promptly lost theirs and always demanded to hold mine. Like, why would I do that if you can't even keep track of yours? We were all 13~15 then, though.

That was totally normal when I was a kid. We used to make cool lanyards to hang out keys on around our necks. It was super awesome to have your key as a kid!
