    When I was that age people just decided things would be too scary for me without even giving me a chance to watch them. Somehow 7 is too young to watch Nightmare on Elm Street, but 8 is just fine >.>

    OH MY GOSH. When I was a kid, for one of my birthdays, my sister saved up enough money somehow to take me to a movie. (I'm about to show my age here) But the two movies showing at the theater at the time was Nightmare on Elm Street and Turner and Hooch. I chose Nightmare on Elm Street. I've always loved scary movies!

    I've never found them particularly scary and I honestly can't remember ever being so scared of a movie that I wouldn't be allowed to watch them.
