After I retire, I'm going to join my local HOA and ticket people for their trash cans.

 

We have the farms in Georgia, and since his dad passed, we aren't sure how long term we will stay out west, so we put a house on hold for now. We'll be out for probably a few more years, but not sure it's worth buying a house, especially since any house worth buying (the house values in this town are declining. We know someone who bought one for 60k and it's lost value) is like 30 miles from his job. This house has the space I need for my plethora of fur kids, decent rent, and its like 4 miles to work for Matt, so meh. With that said, watch us buy a house with a runway or something sometime soon. I can see not having them in the street for too long (here), because we have really narrow roads and you can't park on the street, so it's SUPER ANNOYING if they are left out, cause it's hard to back out of your driveway without running into one. It's the "visible from the street" thing that PISSES ME OFF, cause that means I can't leave it in my driveway if I don't wanna drag it to the backyard yet.

I spoke with Ben Sorensen about this study. He explained to me that the study was about reading comprehension, and that he measured how much time a person stayed on each page. If a person only stayed on a page for a few seconds, their HIT was rejected, as that wasn’t possibly enough time to read and thus accurately answer the questions which followed. Since the survey instructions said to “read carefully”, rejecting HITs where workers didn’t read is appropriate.

Ben also apologized about the “x” given as reason for rejection and said that was an error.
