This I understand. Since I lost my daughter, Mother's Day is a humongous mix of emotions for me. Any woman who has suffered a loss (baby, miscarriage, her own mother, etc.) will probably have some super mixed up emotions on that day.

For me, honestly, sometimes I want some alone time on that day, too. I do spend most of it with my son (and the other non bio kids I have if they're around) but sometimes I like to just be alone for a couple of hours, and some years I like to drive alone to my daughter's grave and just have a good ugly cry all by myself.

If someone asks me what I want to do that day then makes that possible, I totally appreciate that.
