With all the weird creeper hits we have seen lately do I really want to open this up?

 

The best part clearly though is that the amazon prime card is metal. Not that I will ever use it outside of amazon or wholefoods but I like a good metal card.

 

Love that card. Don't use it much but it's pleasant to touch.

 

Huh it seems like the business american express card gets 5% at AWS and that is honestly the only real difference between the two besides the fact that one is a business card.

If CT used AWS to host shit (I'm pretty sure that he doesn't) that would matter but uh yeah I'm pretty sure he is using dropple or some shit like that.

 

Yeah I won't ever get a credit card because it is metal but a card being metal is still nice.

Ack. I'd love to apply for that card and use that for Amazon purchases.

But I won't right now. While my credit score is into the "Excellent" range, and I'm working my arse off to pay down some balances, my score is affected and lower than I want because I refi'd my mortgages a while ago so the "balance" they have is "too high" considering when I took out the original loan (I do pay extra on one of them every month).

I am also going to be buying a car in the next couple of years and I'm working to save to pay for as much of it as I can with cash, but the reality is I'll have to finance part of it so I don't want my credit score to drop because I applied for another credit card

tl;dr no 5% for Tricker cuz she wants to buy a new car sometime soon and doesn't want her credit dinged with a hard inquiry.

For now we're going to get a flat bottom aluminum boat with an outboard motor and a trolling motor. I would give half my organs to have a nice pontoon boat, but That'll have to wait for quite a while. lol. Once we get the kid grown we should be in good shape to get one.

 

I want to get a big fancy bass boat, but then I have to buy a truck too.

 

You would want to get the normal amazon prime card https://www.amazon.com/dp/BT00LN946S/?tag=thtv02-20 but I'm fairly certain that it is an easy card to get approved for unlike chase's normal cards.

Unless you have missed payments or some shit you would prob get approved for it. Your score only drops like 5 points from a hard pull and will completely drop off in 2 years.

Yeah, but then I might have too many credit cards (I have more than one presently).

My score hovers around the 800 mark and I'd like that to be closer to the max before I buy a car.

I do use my Payments balance to buy stuff on Amazon. It feels like "free" money to me, lol.

But I do use my other rewards credit card for other purchases, so I'm not completely missing out and when one card sends me a promo "Extra $50 when you buy more than $500 on this card this month!" I use the hell out of those promos!!!

I never miss payments. I'm so reliable it's almost nauseating.
