95% is super low.. idk why you'd pull that # specifically but it will definitely screen you out of a good # of hits.. anything below 99% even is gonna make things more difficult

But.. no it wont have any impact on unrelated HITs

Well right now I'm at the point if EVERYTHING got rejected I'd be at 90%. SO I'm trying to decide about an okay paying batch vs calling it a night. Still new, so I'm only at 2500 approved.

An account with 90% approval is dead.

Thankfully I have no reason to believe I'll get hit by a wave, I just wish MLDataLabeler would approve faster. I've been trying to get my numbers up slowly, but I've been more aggressive this week on cheap, high approval batches.

    Ah, gotcha.

I don't recommend it, but I always have been willing to throw away buffer based on each batch individually.. but that is honestly risky & I'd be lying to say anything different lol..

It happens to a lot of newbies that they get bit by something on mturk early on.. usually folks don't understand that requesters (batch reqs especially) aren't paying for you to give it the good ol' college try, they're expecting to pay for the correct answer and your thoughts/opinions/feelings don't mean shit.

Kinda harsh.. but if you can get that, and understand that they don't always give you the correct tools to provide them w/ what they expect to be the right answer you'll be alright if you can mix it w/ stuff like TO/TV

Or at least I survived so have enough survivor bias to say that's fine :p hahaaa

I know I've died and I am in hell. There is no other possible explanation for this crap- now, all my add-ons in Firefox stopped working while I was out.
Tampermonkey, U-Block Origin, AdBlocker Plus, all my mturk scripts- and whatever else I don't recall at the moment -everything gone. Something to do with the time/date certificates or something. Anybody else dealing with this?

Firefox just shit itself and disabled every single add-on I was using. Apparently, it's well known and happening to other folks.

do you guys know how I can get internet without paying comcast $82/month? that's with me owning my own modem and router. my contract is about up and they told me they can't give me any price below that.

It all depends on where you are.

no I'm in colorado springs. centurylink is a little cheaper but I don't own a modem and router for them. I want to pay like $10/month or at most $30/month if I can.

First move is call Comcast and tell them you're leaving. They might offer you a better deal.
