Once the dog gets me up the cats are all "oh, us too!"

If I can get the damn dog to sleep until my 5:30 normal wakeup time, then the cats will (mostly) leave me alone. They do try walking on me to see if that works but it doesn't.

The dog works because she pees on my carpet.

 

My standards are very low for a compliment, one time someone said "nice beard" and my head got so big that Norad started tracking it

Sigh. I don't feel like cooking dinner tonight.

But I only have three more years before he'll be ready to leave for college, and I know I'll miss cooking him dinner once he's gone and cry every night that I'm all alone.

So I'm going to go home and cook chicken scampi for me and the kid and LOVE IT because my time doing this is rapidly coming to an end and I'll miss being a full time mom.

 

i stayed at a friends' place this past weekend. at 5 am on the dot the cat tried to wake up guy #1, if that fails then guy 2 and 3 at 5:15......i was 4th best option and got yelled at by the cat....... i'm weak willed and let him out lol
