Cesar Milan? Yeah. He pushed that dog way too far, then basically stole their dog, said he couldn't do anything with it and I think he had her put down.

 

The mother/grandmother of all my cats was a street cat. I bit her too like the one and only time she ever bit me... she was such a sweet and loving fatass tank of a cat.

 

Oh, apparently he "rehabilitated" her. Still can't stand the guy.

 

Get your cats fixed.

They are, now. It took a couple of rounds of kittens to convince me.

 

He's a 10 year old feral who is mostly deaf, a little blind, has ongoing dental issues, fears humans, and probably not gonna make it the year. I can pick him up, groom him, and he mostly just hisses and nips at me and bats at me without drawing blood, to remind me who is boss, but he's a little trash demon and he's unlikely to ever be totally tame. If I treat him with patience, he head butts my leg while I scratch his bottom and he sleeps in my or matt's lap until he decides he's done with humans for the time being. For a cat whose experience with humans was literally having his jaw broken by someone who kicked him, he's doing remarkably well and I just want to give him the best twilight years I can. You can come bite him if you want, but it's not gonna end well. Not all ferals all the same, and for a cat who it took me a month to even get him to eat food from the end of my driveway, he's come a long way.



He's our little trash can and he's a sweetie, but he has his limits, and I make a point to respect that unless I absolutely need to do something, like clean his ears or brush his teeth.

 

I feel like running around biting street cats is a good way to get yourself a disease. But what do I know, I'm just meatware

Why doesn't that surprise me.

 

They are each unique little furry people, and the only thing you can ever do is try to give them a good home and a happy life for as much time as they have.

 

I'm 80% stupid most of the time and 99.9% stupid around kittens.
