Slack sucks, all the cool kids hide in Discord and spoonfeed each other.

 

He doesn't like it because it isn't directly attached to our forum account.

At the same time new members can't even use the live chat so what difference does it really make.

 

Alright, but that does not help me to understand how many tube doughs @ChrisTurk could buy with that money.

 

I would pay double that amount to avoid this level of stupidity & responsibility in my life.

I want people to be able to ding me w/o leaving this page, neither of those accomplish that goal and give me way more headache than they're worth to try to pigeonhole into a round hole.

It lets @A6_Foul_Out and @THFYM send me stupid tweets which is all I really care about in my day

 

@ThisPoorGuy has still not informed me how many tube doughs a month this would be.

But IRC is great from the dev end? You can make it extremely secure and it barely uses any resources.

 

I already told him that I don't want it.
