    12th attempt to do a simple one-minute UserBob. I'd use most of that minute just looking at the page and thinking about what to say. No point in stammering some stream-of-consciousness BS. Popular hits, but not my cup of tea.

    Yeah I'm not a fan of the type of work either but he is a good guy and pays fairly from what I can tell.

    Right, and I've nothing against him or the quality of the HITs.

    It's just me. Seems I have a personal aversion to spontaneous speaking.

    Maybe if I can find a way to re-record the audio track (after finishing the capture),
    then I can replace my stammering blathering babblings with something more coherent.

    I don't do User Bob HITS because I work from a Chromebook, I can't download that stuff. I would like to do those tasks, my equipment just isn't compatible. I do know that User Bob is extremely communicative and if you take a look at the AWS discussion forum (https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?threadID=294961&tstart=0 ) , you'll see that he often stands up for Joan and other Mturk workers. He's a good requester. Maybe you should just contact him.

    We all eventually, if we stick with it, find the tasks that we are more suited for. Some days are better than others. No need to compromise yourself.
