My dad used to live in NC. We used to have to ride 12 hour drives 2-3 times a year in a station wagon when he would come pick us up. We either slept in the back or played road games.

 

But MA shows!

 

As a kid, we moved from Kentucky to New Mexico, then from New Mexico to Wyoming. Our road trips were coming back home to Kentucky to visit. 20+ hour drives.

 

I'd like to say "if kids would never make it if they lived when we did" but they are accustomed to these things and we were not so it's hard to say. I'm gonna get to test all this road trip stuff out when I drive 14 hours to Myrtle in July. I've permitted them each a spotify premium account and they can have the switch but it's only going to be charged with what it has when we leave.

I'll let you know any tricks and tips I pick up along the way. My doctor already told me he would give me some xanax for the trip because I have pretty high anxiety driving through cities and in new places, so I'm probably not going to care too terribly much about their problems at that time.
