I think it leads to the slippery slope that gets created by this platform. Since pay is usually pretty low in general, it creates a strange mentality from a portion of the worker pool, where the goal changes from "doing an honest job for honest money" to "how do I make the most possible?"

At first glance, yes, we all want to make the most possible...but what I mean is, I have no doubt there are turkers that view work here in a mathematical (and, in my opinion, unethical) sense. For example, providing just god awful data to requesters that are known to be lenient, for the sake of literally working as fast as possible to maximize earnings. Or basically randomizing answers and flying through surveys knowing rejections are coming, as long as they can find a way to keep the approval rate above 99 with the previously mentioned lenient requesters.

How much can the well be poisoned before it gets boarded up?

I know it's the extreme end of what you guys are talking about, but it is a slippery slope once you (the general you) decides it's ok to do certain things ethically.

Hey all, I'm new to this forum. I've been lurking for a few days, trying to learn the ropes here and such, but I thought I should say hi! Fuck every requester that uses a long ass survey code at the end of an inquisit survey. That shit is not copy/pastable.
