    I'm not advocating doing bad work at all. However you also have to look at mturk from an economics perspective.

    McDonalds hires people for minimum wage. There are very few qualifications for getting the job other than showing up. McDonald's employees don't get any sort of bonus for performing well. They aren't offered benefits of any kind. Most of them have neither the desire nor opportunity for promotion. Basically there are very few incentives offered to the average McDonald's employee to do a good job.

    Since that's the case don't be surprised when an employee puts out a fucked up burger. Likewise, you shouldn't be surprised when your offer of $4 an hour buys shit work on occasion.
